David Beckham takes £39m dividend as World Cup deals drive record profits
David Beckham has withdrawn a $51 million (£39 million) dividend from his business ventures, following multiple brand partnerships linked to the FIFA World Cup.
The former soccer star featured in roughly 12 advertising campaigns during this year's tournament in the United States, collaborating with companies such as Lenovo, McDonald's, Bank of America, Verizon, and PepsiCo's snack brand Lay's. These deals contributed to his holding company achieving a record revenue of $110.5 million.
